I didn't really make any life changing commitments this year... BUT I was talking to my sister, Margie, this morning and she told me she is doing a half-triathalon in March AND a mud-run in June - so she started training today! As I was thinking thru her goals for the year - I thought about what I am planning... to cook at least ONE fun meal a month AND learn a new cooking technique a month - SO while she is exercising for this year - I will be EATING thru the year! HAHA!
I got the Julia Child's cookbook... "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" - I am so excited to start... and Maegen Barnes inspired me to START with the recipe for Boeuf Bourguignon - page 315 =)
It isn't ALL eating... HAHA!! I am starting out the year with a personal Trainer - Tanya Appleby AND My DEAR friend "Jenny Craig" is still HELPING me along the way!
SO I am on my way to a healthier lifestyle while LEARNING along the way!
